Product Description

Blend Polyol LY-5460 Series for Pipe Shell Insulation

1.APPLICATION:
A two-component polyurethane foam insulation system for the manufacture of shells, plates trowel and other products.The system does not contain ozone-depleting CFCs. Blowing agent provides with HCFC-141B.

2.Chemical characterization of system components LY-5460:
2.1Component A brand Polyol blend:
A mixture of polyethers and special additives.

2.2Isocyanate:
Polymeric diphenylmethane diisocyanate

7.APPLICATION GUIDELINES
7.1Facing Preparation
The facings should be clean, dry, and free of grease, oil, solvent or other contaminants, which will interfere with proper adhesion and/or polyurethane insulation quality.This product should be used with facing temperatures in the range 25-45°C.Higher facing  temperatures (40° - 45° C) will enhance foam flow and adhesion.
7.2Equipment Type
This product is suitable for both Low or High Pressure dispensing equipment and hand mix.

8.STORAGE OF MATERIALS
The materials are sensitive to humidity and partially used drums should be tightly sealed  to prevent the ingress of moisture.
