Blend Polyol DFR3 Series for Pre-insulated Pipe and Shell

1.APPLICATION:

A two-component polyurethane foam insulation system for the manufacture of shells, plates and other products for thermal insulation purposes.The system does not contain ozone-depleting CFCs. Blowing agent provides with CFC free.
Blend Polyol DFR3 Series is a fully blended rigid polyurethane foam system.It has an excellent cure, small hold-in forms, uniform cell structure, low thermal conductivity.Operating temperature up to 120ºC

7.APPLICATION GUIDELINES

8.1Facing Preparation

The facings should be clean, dry, and free of grease, oil, solvent or other contaminants, which will interfere with proper adhesion and/or polyurethane insulation quality.This product should be used with facing temperatures in the range 25-45°C.Higher facing  temperatures (40° - 45° C) will enhance foam flow and adhesion.

8.2Equipment Type

This product is suitable for both Low or High Pressure dispensing equipment and hand mix.

8.STORAGE OF MATERIALS

The materials are sensitive to humidity and partially used drums should be tightly sealed  to prevent the ingress of moisture.

Polyol Blend

The Polyol blend has a shelf life of six months from date of manufacture when stored in doors at temperatures of 20-30°C.The Polyol blend should be thoroughly mixed before use.

Isocyanate

The Isocyanate has a helf life of one year from date of manufacture when stored indoors  at temperatures of 20-30°C.Avoid storage temperatures of below 0°C (as some crystallization may occur) or above 50°C (as formation of insoluble solids may occur).
